The goal of this page is to help illustrate the costs that go into running an animal rescue as well as to help show where donations will go to help all of our kitties.
Mewtew’s Rescue is a Florida not-for-profit corporation doing business in Bay County. We are not affiliated with any national organization. The Internal Revenue Service has recognized Mewtew’s Rescue as a 501(c)(3) organization. This means that donations made to Mewtew’s Rescue are deductible as provided in sec. 107 of the Internal Revenue Code. Mewtew’s Rescue programs are funded completely from memberships, donations, grants and fundraising events.
We currently have a population of 75 cats. We estimate our current annual expenses at least at $22,500. Please note that all of our members are volunteers who keep this organization going through their generation donation of their time.
